It describes our companies privacy policy and practices concerning the personal information we collect and disclose about our members.

Information We Collect About You
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

· Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency (CRA)
· Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on

  an application or other forms; this may be obtained from your

  current or past employers, or from other institutions where you

  conduct financial transactions

We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the following types of third parties:

· Financial service providers, such as insurance companies

· Non-financial companies, such as consumer reporting agencies,

  data processors and application service providers.

Disclosure of Information to Parties That Provide Services to Us
In order for us to conduct the business of The Cooperative Finance Association, Inc., we may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing or other services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements so that we may provide members competitive products and services. We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you under circumstances as permitted or required by law.
 

These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, or that which allows us to conduct the operations of our organization.

To protect our members’ privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of information we provide. We do not permit these companies to sell the information we provide to other third parties.

Disclosure of Information About Former Members
If you terminate your membership with The Cooperative Finance Association, Inc., we will not share information we have collected about you, except as may be permitted or required by law.

How We Protect Your Information
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, or procedural safeguards of  your nonpublic personal information.

Dealers Id's and Password's
The Cooperative Finance Dealers are issued a user id and password to the Online Input Application.  Each and every dealer  is solely responsible for ensuring that only authorized employee's, representative and/or temporary consultants of their organization may utilize the assigned id and password to access the online input application.  The Cooperative Finance Association, Inc. shall not be and is not responsible for any loss, claim or other liability that may arise from the unauthorized use of any id or password.  If a user's password is lost or stolen, it is the users responsibility to notify The Cooperative Finance Associations, Inc's. Information Technology department or your area input loan officer so that the missing or forgotten password can be re-assigned or the violated id can be disabled and re-assigned.

CFA's authorized dealers have been setup to access the online Input Application. Information submitted online is held with the utmost confidentiality and security.  CFA complies with the federal regulations that prohibit the unauthorized use of your information.  The data submitted is securely transmitted to an authorized secure server, where a 128-bit encryption or higher is used to protect your data.

CFA's applicant information, including but not limited to personal, financial and credit information will not be sold, transferred or in any way utilized by any party  other than authorized CFA personnel without the prior written consent of the applicant, unless otherwise required by law.

The transmission of this website material shall not be construed to grant a license of any type under any patents, copyright, or trademarks owned or controlled by The Cooperative Finance Association, Inc.
